The Grilla has an insulated cooking chamber, it's a little less expensive, and customer service is reportedly excellent. They seem very similar, both are made in China, both are sold by US companies. That said, if I were looking at a RT 700 today, I'd also consider the Grilla Grills Silverback. Customer service has always been top-notch, too.
I have the predecessor of the Recteq 700, and it's been a great smoker.
